Janette is currently a graduate student in the Marriage & Family Counseling Program at Lamar University. She is supervised by Amber Kuntz, MS, LPC-S. Janette has experience in elementary education and working with children, adults and families. Her approach is integrative to focus on each client and their journey in life.  Janette uses Solution Focused and Cognitive approaches to help focus on solving current problems, thoughts, actions and solutions in life. She has experience working with clients that are dealing with anxiety, depression,  stressful life events, college transitions and career guidance.  Janette’s passion is to help others and to let them know they are not alone.

Lynn Marshall, MS, LPC-S

Lynn Marshall, MS, LPC-S

Lynn is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor who works with individuals, families, and adolescents.  She is a graduate of Texas Woman’s University where she earned her undergraduate degree in Family and Consumer Science and Master’s of Science degree in Family Therapy.  After teaching life skills for the past twenty years, she has made the decision to focus on counseling full time.   She has experience in the areas of parenting and anger management and has helped both adolescents and adults improve their coping and communication skills.  Lynn believes that personal growth is a lifelong pursuit and, regardless of the situation, the relationship between the counselor and client must be a fit.

Dr. Hewitt has always had a heart to help others. Dr. Hewitt has had the opportunity to provide counseling services, mentoring, and life coaching in the community, private, and educational sector. Providing counseling and mentoring to families to improve families’ dynamics in the form of family, couples, individual, and group counseling has been her passion for many years. She strives to help clients overcome circumstances and learning how to be self-sufficient and emotionally stable. She has worked with children, adolescents, and adult populations. She has experience working with individuals, families, and couples to address such issues as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, trauma, communication, life skills, and various other issues. She feels that change is possible for all who are willing to work on their issues while embarking on a new journey and striving for self-sufficiency and emotional stability. Her goal is to help individuals achieve and maintain their highest level of emotional independence while moving forward and focusing on their future. She believes that self-care starts with self-preservation and acceptance of things one cannot change.

Kristin Wright

Kristin Wright, M.S., LPC

Kristin is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University and her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of South Carolina Aiken. Kristin has experience working with children, teens, adults, groups, and families. She also has experience working with a wide variety of mental health struggles including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, substance abuse, as well as developmental disabilities like Autism and Asperger’s. Kristin believes that every person is unique and special in their own way. Because of this, she strives to find the best individualized treatment that builds on each person’s strengths and abilities. Kristin also believes in encouraging autonomy by working together with her clients to shape positive coping skills that will allow the client to empower themselves for the future.

Anna Cisneros

Anna Cisneros, MA, LPC

Anna Cisneros is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adults, families, children and adolescents. Anna believes each individual has their own set of beliefs and life circumstances shaping them into the unique person they are. Anna tailors her counseling style to the specific needs of each client, yet consistently encourages clients to utilize the strengths within themselves to overcome any challenge they may encounter. Anna received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University and her Master’s degree in Counseling from St. Mary’s University. Anna has 8 years experience with child/adolescent and family therapy. She enjoys helping clients with difficulties such as anxiety, ADHD, depression, low self-esteem, anger management, stress and parenting. Anna is fully bilingual (English/Spanish).

Lesley Herrera

Lesley Herrera, MS, LCDC, LPC

Lesley is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. She graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and with a minor in Addictions; and from Texas Woman’s University with a Masters of Science degree in Counseling and Development. She believes counseling begins with building a safe, open, and trusting therapeutic relationship. This provides many benefits and helps utilize an eclectic approach to bringing about growth and reaching any goals for counseling. Lesley is experienced with individuals, couples, struggling teens, groups, and families. Her experience also includes anxiety, dependency or addiction concerns, depression, crisis management, trauma, grief, self-esteem, building healthy relationships, life skills, divorce, intimate partner abuse, and parenting.
