Dr. Dorian Aponte
Board Certified Psychiatrist
Dr. Aponte obtained her medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and completed her Psychiatry Residency program at the University of Texas Southwestern in 2009. She is experienced in the evaluation and medical treatment of multiple psychiatric disorders, including ADHD, mood and anxiety disorders. She understands many of these conditions are often caused by both physical and psychological factors. Dr. Aponte will work with you on developing the treatment plan that best fits your needs, whether it involves medications, counseling, or the combination of both. Be assured that Dr. Aponte will personally conduct the initial evaluation as well as all your follow up appointments, as our practice does not currently work with physician extenders. Her services are available in English and Spanish.
Dr. Aponte is currently accepting patients ages 18 to 65 and accepts private pay only. Counselors accept Evernoth, Cigna, Aetna, and BCBS PPO.
